Vladimir Ricardo da Rosa Moreira
Graduated from the University of the Campanha Region (U R C A M P ), he carried out research on the theme “Challenges of vegetable seed production in organic and biodynamic farmers’ associations in the south of Minas Gerais” in his Master’s dissertation at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) in Lavras-MG, at the Department of Administration and Economics (DAE), in the Postgraduate Program in Sustainable Development and Extension (PPGDE). His professional experience is consolidated as a researcher and consultant for important agroecological seed institutions throughout Brazil, such as Bionatur, where he contributed as technical coordinator for several years.
He currently works as a consultant for SENAR – SP in long-term programs on Organic Olericulture, Organic Tomatoes, Organic Potatoes, Organic Nutrition and Seed Production of Vegetables, among other projects in various Brazilian states.
He is also currently a consultant for the ABD (Brazilian Association of Biodynamic Agriculture) in the area of seed production, participatory breeding, organic and biodynamic olericulture in groups of small farmers in various Brazilian states.
With dozens of scientific articles published in specialized agricultural journals, his work stands out for its research and application of knowledge related to organic farming, highlighting the importance of valuing agroecological seeds and their particularities, encouraging responsible agriculture in harmony with the kingdoms of nature.
